How It Started

An Auto Aesthetics Shop on Wheels.

Chopped Details started in 2024 with one question: why can't we do it all? Every other option on Oahu meant picking one shop for detailing, another for correction, a third for ceramic coating — driving to each one, waiting in line, working around someone else's schedule.

So we built the alternative: full-stack restoration that comes to you, seven days a week. Detailing, correction, coating, and headliner work, done in your driveway instead of three different parking lots.

Quality over quantity. That's not a slogan — it's why we still take on every job ourselves instead of scaling up a crew we can't stand behind.

Salt air, UV, and humidity attack every vehicle on this island the moment it's parked outside. What we do slows that down — it doesn't just make things look good for a photo.

Paint correction before ceramic coating, every time. Sealing in swirls and oxidation because a customer wanted to skip a step isn't protection — it's a problem with a shiny coat on top.

Brandon runs point on most jobs and is usually the one customers talk to first — reviews consistently call out his punctuality and how clearly he walks people through what their vehicle actually needs before any work starts.

Jai Mortensen

Co-Owner

Jai handles the detail work that customers notice after the fact — the corner nobody else would have caught, the interior that comes back cleaner than it left the dealership. Attention to detail isn't a tagline for him, it's just how the job gets done.
